Business Card Design
We design cards that are easy to read, consistent with your brand and prepared correctly for print, so the version that comes back from the printer matches what you approved on screen.

Business card design is the layout of contact information, logo and brand elements on a small printed card that people keep after meeting you. A well-designed card prioritises readability, follows the brand’s colours and fonts, and is prepared to printer specifications so it reproduces accurately on the chosen paper and finish.
A business card is often the only piece of your brand someone takes home after a meeting or exhibition. It needs to answer two questions quickly: who you are and how to reach you. Cards fail when they crowd in too much text, use tiny fonts or print in muddy colours because the file was set up for screen.
Our business card design includes:
Special finishes such as matte or soft-touch lamination, spot UV or foil can work well, but availability and cost vary between printers, so we design with them as options to confirm with your printer. If you don’t have a logo yet, start with logo design.
Chartered accountants, lawyers, architects and doctors who hand cards over in every first meeting.
Businesses whose staff meet dealers, distributors and buyers regularly and need consistent cards across the team.
Companies attending trade fairs where cards are exchanged quickly and must be remembered later.
Retailers, salons and creative studios that place cards at the counter for walk-in customers.
Most card problems are not about taste. They are technical. A design made in RGB looks bright on a phone but prints dull. Text placed too close to the edge gets trimmed. A logo pulled from a website prints pixelated because it was never a vector. Fine grey text on a dark background becomes unreadable on uncoated stock.
Then there is content. Cards often try to list every product, branch and phone number, leaving the person who received it unsure which number to call. Teams also end up with slightly different card designs because each one was made separately whenever someone joined.
A well-prepared card avoids all of this with sensible content choices, proper print setup and a template that keeps every employee’s card identical in structure.

FAQs
Still have a question?
Ask us directly — you’ll get a straight answer from the team that does the work.
You will receive a print-ready PDF set up in CMYK at 300 dpi with 3 mm bleed and crop marks, which most printers accept directly. If your printer has specific requirements, such as a different bleed or separate files for spot UV, send them to us before finalising and we will prepare the files accordingly.
We focus on design and file preparation, and the printing is done and billed by your chosen printer. We are happy to coordinate with them on specifications. Finishes like matte lamination, spot UV or foil vary in availability and cost between printers, so we treat them as options to confirm before you place the order.
Yes, both are optional. A QR code can link to a digital contact card, your website or a WhatsApp chat, and we test that it scans reliably at the printed size. NFC cards need a specialist supplier to embed the chip, so we design the artwork to that supplier’s template.
The number of revision rounds is agreed in the proposal. Business cards are small, so most changes are quick, but we always ask you to check every phone number, email and spelling carefully on the final proof. Corrections after printing cost far more than corrections at the proof stage.
Yes. Once the project is paid in full, ownership of the final card design is transferred to you, and you receive the source files to reprint with any printer. Fonts in the design may require their own licence if your team edits the files, and we tell you which fonts are used.
